The Alumni Association was established by the Convocation and comprises everybody who graduated at the NWU and its predecessors or received diplomas there. The aim of this association is to serve as link between alumni and their alma mater.

Each campus has an external representative and an alumni relationship officer who represents the interests of the various campuses in the Convocation.
