NWU to host annual Nelson Mandela public lecture - would you like to attend?

The NWU is proud to announce that this year's annual Nelson Mandela public lecture will be hosted on the Potchefstroom Campus in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation.
 
The Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture Series invites prominent people to drive debate on significant social issues. Previous speakers include South Africa's Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, former US president Barack Obama; Archbishop Desmond Tutu; former South African president Thabo Mbeki; Chilean-American author and human rights activist Ariel Dorfman; Nobel laureate Wangari Maathai; former UN secretary-general Kofi Annan, and many more.
 
This year this prestigious and invitation-only event will take place from 12:00 to 14:00 on Saturday 16 May at the Amphi theater on the Potchefstroom Campus.
