Men's Conference - Theme - #YouHitWeHurt

AIM: To empower men with knowledge to distinguish between being a man and a REAL MAN so that together we can fight the scourge of Gender Based Violence at the NWU Potchefstroom campus in order to create a safe campus.

Let me start with the words of Craig Wilkinson who said “The problem is not men and masculinity, but it is wounded men with a distorted view of what masculinity is”. The men’s conference is organized to address these wounded views in order to provide young men with a proper view of masculinity. In so doing we will have the opportunity to address and deal with the challenges of Gender Based Violence.
