Trio Joie de Vivre - Joyful Journey @ The Conserve

Come and enjoy Trio Joie de Vivre’s unique sound on Tuesday, 4 May 2021, at 18:30 in the NWU School of Music & Conservatory Hall. Three friends with a cheerful enjoyment of life play the bassoon, flute, and piano together on an unforgettable musical journey.

The programme begins in Italy with a sonata by Vivaldi. Later, Joie de Vivre travels to Germany with a playful Haydn trio. In Russia, the trio carries us away with the passion of Glinka’s Trio Pathetique.

We take a spiritual journey to the UK and premiere the composition “A Journey of Forgiveness” by Boyce-Tillman. The programme ends in Argentina with three passionate and famous tangos.
