Description
International Mother Language Day is celebrated annually on 21 February and aims to promote the awareness of language and cultural diversity across the world. The NWU, which has a multilingual language policy, is also proud to celebrate this day.
The School of Languages on all three campuses will be hosting the celebrations on their respective campuses. Join them on Friday, 21 February and take a few minutes to learn new languages in the ’60 Seconds Language Course’, enter the selfie competition, or write down your favourite words or phrases in your language.
