With extensive experience since joining Emerald in 2018, Melissa has played a pivotal role in broadening the range of case publications and is dedicated to supporting authors in their case writing endeavors.

About the Speaker:

Melissa Close serves as the Cases Commissioning Lead at Emerald Publishing, situated in Boston, United States. Melissa commenced her journey with Emerald in 2018, focusing on journals within the business management field. Subsequently, in 2022, she expanded her role to include books and eventually cases. She passionately supports the case method and eagerly engages with authors to discuss their work. She hosts multiple webinars for researchers aiming to improve their case writing skills and successfully submit their cases to Emerald Publishing.
