Ambassador, Maria Del Rosario Mina Rojas was born in Cali, Colombia. She has thirty-five years of experience working for the promotion of collective rights of the Black/Afro-descendant people and women, the defence of ancestral territories, the right to self-determination and against racism. An experienced facilitator with critical knowledge of the impacts and damages of violence and racism on Black/Afro-descendant people and women. Extensive experience on grantmaking and partnership with grassroots organizations and NGO partners. Spokesperson at the High-Level Body with Ethnic Peoples, the mechanism to follow-up the implementation of the Peace Accord 2016 between the Colombian Government and FARC-Ep. Promoter of ancestral practices of care and the dialogue between knowledges.
