Research and innovation for sustainable impact
The NWU Research & Innovation Week is a biennial flagship series of events organised by Research Support in collaboration with faculties to “display” our researchers’ work and postgraduate research programmes, thereby enhancing excellence and visibility, and encouraging networking and collaboration across entities and faculties.
Most events are hybrid, with the in-venue components spread across campuses to ensure sufficient coverage. Research Support also uses the Research Week to conduct roadshows across campuses to take support services to the user.
Theme: Research and innovation for sustainable impact
Format: seminars, symposia, panel discussions, public lectures, inaugural lectures, open days, competitions and roadshows conducted by different faculties, Research Support and other interested support departments.
