Description
You are cordially invited to the Publication Ethics Workshop: Promoting Intellectual Property Rights and Responsible Authorship at the NWU Research Environment. This workshop aims to engage with NWU researchers and explore the legal rights and protections associated with research, innovation, and development. Specifically, the workshop will focus on principles and elements of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs) in independent and collaborative research to create awareness and promote intellectual property rights and responsible authorship for NWU researchers and stakeholders.

Objectives of Workshop:
- Understand ethical, legal, and social issues related to publication ethics and intellectual property rights.
- Understand the legal framework of intellectual property rights in collaborative research.
- Understand how to enhance intellectual property rights and responsible authorship within the NWU research environment.
- To identify strategies for effective management of intellectual property rights and responsible authorship conflict resolution within the NWU research environment.
