About the presenter:
Prof. dr. Marianne van Woerkom Prof. dr. Marianne van Woerkom is a full professor of Positive Psychology and Human Resource Studies at Tilburg University, the Netherlands. She received her PhD in Behavioral Sciences at Twente University, Netherlands, in 2005. She also has a MSc. in Educational Sciences and a BSc in Pedagogical sciences which she earned at Groningen University, Netherlands. Her research interests focus on the well-being and development of workers. Inspired by positive psychology, she is intrigued by the question what happens if we take individual strengths instead of deficits or weaknesses as the starting point for developmental processes.
