The Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and the Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG) have recently assessed the implementation and effectiveness of South Africa’s anti-money laundering and combating of the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) system.  Their findings are presented in the Mutual Evaluation Report.
