The North-West University (NWU) is pleased to announce its upcoming Community Engagement Stakeholders Forum Meetings, scheduled to take place across its three campuses. The forum meetings aim to deepen NWU’s connections with current and potential stakeholders, fostering strategic collaborations between sectors and academia. These collaborations will create opportunities for student placement, service-learning, and the co-creation of knowledge through research. This initiative underscores NWU’s commitment to becoming a more responsive and inclusive institution. NWU extends this invitation to civil society organizations, schools, faith-based organizations, industry partners, local government institutions, and the business sector to join the forum and explore opportunities for collaborative impact.
Recognising the social dynamics and complexities faced by our communities, NWU understands that strategic partnerships with external partners are essential to achieving sustainable impact. Guided by the NWU Strategic Plan: 2024 and Beyond, which positions Community Engagement (CE) as a key driver for Teaching and Learning (T&L), as well as Research and Innovation (R&I), these annual forum meetings mark an important step toward meaningful engagement and driving positive change in society.
