Mental health and substance abuse has become a worrisome phenomenon in South Africa as well in North West Province, as young people are dying morally, socially, psychologically and physically. It is important to look back that when individuals and communities engage collectively in helping one another with mental health and social problems including substance abuse, they also act on their problems and environment as a collective.
