International Mother Language Day Celebration: Vanderbijlpark Campus

You are cordially invited to the International Mother Language Day Celebration. The event is a celebration of International Mother Language Day 2025, featuring various cultural activities, including traditional performances and language-related engagements. Dr. Naledi Mbude-Mehana, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Basic Education (National), will deliver the keynote address. Her speech will focus on the role of mother tongues in education and the implementation of Mother Tongue-Based Bilingual Education in schools. The performances and activities will be presented by students from the Faculty of Education.
