he Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences cordially invites you to the Food Security and Safety (FSS) Annual Postgraduate Seminar Day with a keynote lecture by the FNAS Deputy Dean T&L Prof. T Medupe. Every enrolled postgraduate (Master's and Doctoral) participant is required to deliver a verbal presentation in person, ONE scientific article (from their NWU research) published in a peer-reviewed DHET-accredited journal for 10 min (i.e., 8 min for presentation + 2 min for questions)

Important:

1. Interested postgraduate students should email their Powerpoint slides and Proof of Registration to the Convener, Dr DMN Mthiyane, NOT later than 16h00 on 26th November 2024.
2. Programme and link to be shared on 27th November 2024.
3. Presentations will be evaluated and scored by a multi-disciplinary panel of 5 scientific judges
4. The best 5 presentations will be incentivized with awards worth R5000 (1st price), R4000 (2nd price), R3000 (3rd price), R2000 (4th price), and R1000 (5th price).
5. Any participant NOT available when asked to present will not be given another opportunity.
