Dr Shiksha Gallow is a global pioneer in the medical cannabis industry. Her vision is "To transform global healing by empowering the world with her holistic practices". She is a Cannabis Clinician (certified in USA), Medical Researcher, Holistic Integrative Practioner, Neuroscientist and health coach. She is the Medical Director of Holistic Integrative Healing Institute, and is the first and only South African to serve on the Board of Directors on the Society of Cannabis Clinicians in the USA. Additionally she was appointed on the EXCO for BRICS South African health chapter, and serves on the Advisory Board at Cannabis Research Institute. Dr Shiksha Gallow has vast academic achievements, including an Honorary Doctorate in Medicine, PHD, Masters in Public Health Medicines, Medical Science and a MBA. She is currently completing her third PHD investigating the use of cannabinoids in prostate cancer patients. Her accolades include the following: Winner of the Woman of Stature awards in healthcare 2022, Most influential women of the year, Woman of Wonder in healthcare, and she was named "Africas leading medical professional of the year 2022”. Furthermore she is the Principal Investigator of the first Cannabis Clinical Trial in South Africa which aims to investigate the replacement of opioids with medical cannabis. She has published articles and four books and is a global co-author in her fifth book which be launched this year.
Dr Gallow has presented at various global conferences as the key note speaker, and recently was invited by the German government to open collaborations between South Africa and Germany in the medical cannabis field, she also has a partnership in Canada. Read more.
