Bio: Prof. Victor Mlambo
Victor Mlambo has a PhD in Ruminant Nutrition from the University of Reading (UK) and two Master's degrees; one in Animal Sciences from the University of Zimbabwe, and another in Development Statistics from the University of the West Indies. He is a Co-Editor-in-Chief of Animal Feed Science and Technology, a discipline-leading journal published by Elsevier. His previous work experience includes the International Atomic Energy Agency (Vienna, Austria), University of Swaziland, The University of the West Indies (Trinidad and Tobago), North-West University (South Africa), where he also served as the Head of the School of Agricultural Sciences, and the University of Mpumalanga (South Africa) as a full Professor of Animal Nutrition and Program Leader: Animal Sciences. Victor is also an Associate Editor for the South African Journal of Animal Science as well as the Botswana Journal of Agriculture and Applied Sciences. He is passionate about sustainable nutritional and related solutions for food animals, an area where most of his research is focused. He is an NRF-rated (C1) animal scientist who has published just over 120 peer-reviewed articles and supervised 32 MSc and 16 PhD students to date.
