The conference theme for 2022 is: Consumer Sciences at a distance: creating social and economic value.
In addition to presenting your own research, we also welcome the presentation of research proposals and research-in-progress, as well as best practice in teaching and learning, community engagement and entrepreneurship. Research should not have been presented at previous conferences or be under review at another conference. Research papers (articles) that have been published but not presented at a conference will be accepted as oral presentations.
Whether you are an experienced academic or a student, or working in the broad field of consumer sciences we want to provide you with the opportunity to network and to share your work and experience at the SAAFECS conference. Even if you do not intend to present your work at the conference, you are welcome to attend the conference where you will be able to engage with others sharing your interests.
Abstract submissions will be accepted until 18 March 2022.
