Description
You are cordially invited to the 15th CHPC & 7th NITheCS Coding Summer School that is attended at a designated university or research location in southern Africa.
Theme: Foundations in Data Science & Computational Thinking.
The School offers:
- Daily lectures, code-along, interactive tutorials, and assignments.
- STEM talks by experts from diverse fields.
- Light snacks and refreshments.
- Certification of eligible candidates.
Who can apply?
- Registered postgraduate students in South Africa and certain SADC countries.
- Researchers and professionals in industry.
A background in Python programming is required. Please see further details on the registration website (Register before 13 December 2024).
Where to attend: Attend at a designated university location in South Africa. Space is limited.
How to register
- Registration is free. Note, no accommodation or travel costs will be covered.
- Follow the registration link or scan the QR code, then complete your details and submit the form. After registering, please complete the entrance test found also on the registration website.
- Successful candidates will be notified within a month after registration and completion of the entrance test.
