Dorette Visser
Dorette a registered accountant and with the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and a registered Tax Practitioner. She holds a B Interior Design Degree (University of Pretoria, 1999), B Compt Degree (UNISA, 2009) and M Phil in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management (University of Pretoria, 2012) and is currently completing a Higher Diploma in Taxation at UNISA. |
She has held the position of Director of Golden Key South Africa since April 2014. Golden Key International Honour Society is the world’s largest collegiate honour society. Golden Key academically recognises the top 15% degree seeking students and connect high-achieving individuals locally, regionally and globally with lifetime opportunity, reward and success. The Society focuses on academic excellence, leadership development and community service.
Dorette’s field of experience is Finance, having qualified as Professional Accountant, she ran a small private practice before joining a FMCG as financial manager. Her passion lies with business growth and development. A good fit with her position at Golden Key.
She enjoy lecturing as guest lecturer in Business Planning at the University of Pretoria. Her role as non-executive director of Project Literacy provides an opportunity to serve the community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and studying business and leadership.
