Mtho Xulu goes by many titles: advocate, entrepreneur and business leader. As the President of the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI), Advocate Xulu is passionate about innovation and excellence in service whilst also being fiercely committed towards the creation of sustainable wealth. |
He holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from UNISA and prides himself on attaining this qualification by means of a distance learning programme. The latter diverts from the traditional norm of lectures, tutorials or academic consultations. Having honed his skills in terms of discipline, self-reliance and independent thinking, he is currently in the process of concluding a Masters of Law (LLM) degree from his alma mater. His areas of specialisation include Commercial Law and Corporate Governance. After completing his LLB degree, Mtho was admitted as an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa in 2011. He is also a member of the Institute of Directors in Southern Africa (IoDSA). As a successful entrepreneur, Advocate Mtho is the founding CEO and Head of JSX Investments (Pty) Ltd. JSX Investments is an investment holdings company with interests in several sectors, including: JSX Properties (property investment and development), DDP Valuers (property valuation and advisory), Gautrain/SPG (integrated transport), African Cables (industrial cables manufacturing), MaxProf (revenue management and advisory), NASHUA Mpumalanga and Lowveld (integrated ICT solutions), Radon Projects (construction), Endemic Developments (landscaping and horticulture) as well as Kunolwazi Resources (mining and energy). |
