October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and the BOSS laboratory within BioMMet together with the department of Biochemistry in organising a fun and informative event to raise awareness and share information with students and staff about the prevention and early detection of not only breast cancer but also prostate, testicular, and cervical cancer. They have also partnered with CANSA to host a Shavathon to raise awareness and funds for those fighting the disease either as a patient or through doing research.
