The Faculty of Humanities warmly invite you to submit an abstract for the international Spring School. The abstract needs to fall within the general theme. Submissions may not have been presented or submitted for presentation elsewhere. All abstracts should be in English. Abstracts will be published in the “Book of Abstracts” with the final programme.

Conference Theme: “Humanising a Fractured World: Intersections of Identity, Digital Humanities, and Geopolitics”.

Renowned and expert keynote speakers will address the following topics:

  1. Identity and Diversity
  2. Digital Humanities
  3. Geopolitics

Additional details regarding keynote speakers, presentation titles, and session programmes will be circulated in upcoming Spring
School updates.

International Spring School date: 28 September - 2 October 2026.

The aim of the international Spring School is to bring together higher degree students, study leaders and researchers from different study fields in the humanities to learn and converse about the Humanities in a fractured world, specifically focusing on identity, digital humanities and geopolitics. This week will provide opportunities to meet with renowned and expert researchers, attend workshops/seminars, but also presenting your own current and completed research. More importantly, a goal of this week is to have ample opportunities for networking, as well as constructive and critical discussions.
