This short training course will address an existing need within the engineering, building and construction environment, within the private and public sectors. The engineering and construction industry are in need of skilled and capacitated individuals with appropriate strategic and construction project management knowledge. The short course will be presented at NQF level 8. The offering of this short course will address an existing market gap in basic strategic and construction project management within the subject field of engineering.
This short course aims to equip public sector and private sector staff, and contractors and developers who provide services to the public sector with basic skills in strategic and construction project management within the built environment.
Attendance of the course is approved by ECSA for 4 CPD Points (ENG-CEE-0000213-S-2019)
Admission requirements:
B Tech or Diploma in Engineering NQF Level 6 or 7 (NQF 5 with at least 5 year working experience in infrastructure system operation and maintenance) ECSA CPD points to be earned. Attendance will be restricted to the first 50 persons who qualify.
Estimated costs: R4 200-00/person. Each attendee will be responsible for his/her traveling and accommodation costs.
