NWU Giving Week (7-13 October 2024) is not just about donations; it’s about coming together to support our students, enabling them to reach new heights with the backing of a community that believes in their potential.
At the North-West University (NWU), we are more than just an institution – we are a community. A community that cares deeply about its students and their future: that’s why we’re launching NWU Giving Week, an initiative to foster a culture of giving and raising critical funds for our students.
What your support achieves:
The funds raised will go towards two key programmes:
- Student Debt Relief: To assist academically deserving students with outstanding fees to enable them to graduate or register in 2025.
- Bursary Support: Helping final-year students who are unable to register for the next academic year due to financial constraints.
How you can help:
- Lead by giving: Inspire others by being the first to contribute. Your generosity will spark a wave of support across the NWU community.
- Share the message: Help spread the word. Share our posts, talk about Giving Week, and encourage your network to get involved.
The benefits of giving:
Not only will your contributions make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students, but they are also tax deductible. The NWU will provide you with a Section 18A certificate to use when filing your tax return, giving you valuable tax benefits while supporting a great cause.
