Brass Collective: Brass Sketches @ The Conserve

Brass Collective is a 5 piece brass band, featuring South Africa’s finest brass players; Phil Cox, Alex Urban (trumpets), Chris Bishop (French horn), Justin Sasman (trombone), and Danél Mecloen (tuba). 

They will be playing a variety of music from award-winning composers, Hobson (premiere), van Dijk, Parker, Woolfenden and Bernstein.

South African composer Andrea Hobson wrote a new work for Brass Collective entitled Sketches. Hobson, now based in Jena (DE), shows her African roots fully in this vibrant rhythmic work.
