Description
On September 18, around 150 nations get together to celebrate World Water Monitoring Day. We have been taught since an early age the importance of water in maintaining the health and well-being of all living things. After all, 60% to 70% of the human body is made up of water. Water is so crucial that finding water sources on other planets takes up a large portion of the budget for space travel. Water makes up a large portion of the ecology on earth, and innumerable organisms rely on it. However, factors like water pollution and climate change are endangering our water sources, making it more crucial than ever to routinely check the nearby water bodies.
