Description
You are cordially invited to attend a workshop on "The Holistic Life Crafting Model: A Practitioner’s Guide To Meaning-making In Every Domain". This workshop is designed to help you and those you serve to craft lives filled with meaning, purpose, and fulfillment.
Objectives of the workshop
The objectives of the workshop include:
- Gaining a comprehensive understanding of the Holistic Life Crafting Model and its theoretical underpinnings.
- Developing proficiency in facilitating life crafting exercises across all seven domains of the model.
- Acquiring skills to assess individual crafting habits and design personalized life crafting interventions.
- Learning to adapt life crafting strategies for various contexts, including individual coaching, group settings, and organizational environments.
- Learning how to integrate life crafting principles into existing coaching and therapeutic frameworks to optimize client outcomes.
- Expanding professional toolkits with evidence-based techniques to promote well-being
- Exploring innovative applications of the model to address diverse client needs and challenges.
Facilitators
- Prof. Bryan Dik, Ph.D - a vocational psychologist and professor of psychology at Colorado State University.
- Prof. Bradley Wright, PhD., is a professor of sociology at the University of Connecticut where he studies well-being, purpose and meaning in life, and spirituality.
- Prof. Llewellyn E. van Zyl, PhD., is an award-winning positive organizational psychologist with a keen interest in the design, implementation and evaluation of positive psychological interventions.
Costs: R3000.00 per person (Bursaries are available for Optentia-affiliated staff). Please note that attendees must arrange their accommodation in Dinokeng Game Reserve for the evening of 13 November 2024).
