You are cordially invited to the Triennial General Meeting (TGM) of the NWU Convocation.
The NWU Convocation comprises of former students (alumni) who have earned a degree or diploma from NWU or its predecessor institutions, as well as all current permanent staff members of the University. Membership is granted through a formal application and a one-time fee of R50 for lifelong membership. As a statutory body of NWU, the Convocation plays a key role in the University's formal management framework, as outlined in the University’s Statute. Its primary mission is to uphold the welfare of NWU by preserving its image, traditions, and interests while serving as a vital link between its members and the University. With representation on the University Council and collaboration with entities such as the Alumni Association, the Convocation strengthens alumni engagement and fosters meaningful connections. Becoming a member offers you the opportunity to contribute to the governance of your alma mater.
