Lesedi Moseki is a Pampierstad born Social Agripreneur who founded the Igrovest Group. He holds a BSc Agricultural Economics undergraduate and Honours degree from North-West University (NWU) and a Masters in Agricultural Economics from UNISA. Mr Moseki started his career journey by joining the Old-Age Agricultural Centre and then Obaro as a Sales and Marketing Specialist. He then moved to Department of Rural Development and Land Reform as an Enterprise Development Intern before he joined the Department of Agriculture as a Business Developer and Skills Development Specialist. In both these Departments, he gained entrepreneurial skills, experience and exposure.
To generate income, he used to sell products such as Perfumes, Lip-sticks and Weed in places such as Taxi Ranks and Varsity during holidays. Whilst working at the Department of Agriculture in 2016, he founded a company called Fitty Shuttles and Logistics which provides chauffeur and transport services in Gauteng Airport and offers shuttle services to various government departments. Using revenue generated from this company, he then ventured into a maize meal (pap) business in 2020. This business was unsuccessful due to various factors but provided great lessons. Read more
