Ethics Training Session

You are cordially invited to attend the Faculty of Humanities Ethics Training Session, an opportunity to strengthen your understanding of research ethics and the processes that guide ethical research at North-West University.

Whether you are an academic staff member, researcher or postgraduate student, this session will provide valuable insight into the importance of research ethics and how ethical research practices contribute to excellent and responsible research.

The session will explore the relationship between excellent research and research ethics, provide a brief overview of the history of research ethics, and take a closer look at the processes and practices for research ethics within the Faculty of Humanities.

Participants will also gain a better understanding of the processes and practices of the NWU Ethics Committee for Language Matters (ECLM), the Basic and Social Sciences Research Ethics Committee (BaSSREC), and the NWU-EMELTEN-SSREC.
