The Faculty of Health Sciences at North-West University (NWU) cordially invites ten higher education practitioners based outside South Africa to attend its 1st International Teaching Week, taking place from 14 - 18 September 2026 in South Africa. Join us for a transformative week of collaboration, global partnerships, teaching, learning, and innovation through SoTL* and COIL**.

Programme highlights:

  • Establishing a COIL** with your South African partner

  • Teacher training

  • Teaching in a South African university

  • A night under the African sky

  • Cultural experiences

  • SoTL* joint publication possibility

  • International networking

 

Important information:

  • Only space for 10 international attendees

  • Each attendee will be partnered with an NWU academic for the week

  • You will be expected to present a class/workshop
