This is us:

Learning by doing. This is probably the best way to describe the Tsitsikamma Living Lab initiative.

During this six-day excursion, students bring theory and practice together, learn from international marine experts and interact with others from different backgrounds and cultures.

This year, students from the School of Biological Sciences once again visited the Tsitsikamma National Park, together with students and experts from the University of Johannesburg, the University of Hong Kong and the Arkansas State University.

This experience is part of the BScHons programme in environmental sciences, and in particular the course in estuary and nearshore marine ecology.
