First in SA to obtain international DBA
Prof Linda du Plessis recently became the first South African to successfully complete the international Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree.
What makes this feat of the deputy vice-chancellor for planning and Vanderbijlpark Campus operations even more remarkable is that she completed the degree – her second doctorate – in four years, instead of the expected five years.
Her journey towards the qualification began in January 2017 when she enrolled for the programme at the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. Click here to read how Linda aced her studies while working full-time and taking care of her family.
Prof Linda du Plessis, who became the first South African to obtain the international Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) degree, says the secret behind her success is effective time management.
