The sun has not yet risen and the night’s shadows are still lingering over the landscape. In the early dawn, dark figures are moving all over the park, wearing gloves and armed with refuse bags.

 

These are the valiant employees of Corporate Relations and Marketing who braved the winter morning chill on 5 June.

 

After a quick cup of coffee to get them going, they joined the Cachet Park City Improvement District initiative to clean up the Wasgoedspruit Park in Potchefstroom.

 

NWU mascot Eagi and his friend Pukki were also there to cheer the group on. How much refuse these playful rascals actually picked up is debatable …
