discover the NWU

This is us:

When faced by life’s storms, it is probably safer to stay indoors until it all blows over, rather than brave the gale force winds. This is however not what the NWU did when confronted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Judging from the University Management Committee’s (UMC) presentation to Council during a workshop on 17 March 2021, the NWU faced the challenges head-on.

In the presentation, the UMC describes how the strategies we implemented have reshaped the business of the university and how our interventions enabled us to take advantage of the new opportunities in the higher education sector.

Weathering the storm

Instead of allowing ourselves to be overwhelmed by the Covid-19 storm, we toughed it out and made the most of the new opportunities it brought. Click on the image above to access the presentation that demonstrates our resilience and proactive spirit.
