Musa explains that the new holding shape can only be used on designed graphics or materials such as brochures, invitations, flyers, posters and pull-up banners.
“You can’t use the new holding shape for NWU clothing, letterheads and other official NWU documentation. For these, you must still follow the guidelines as set out in our corporate identity manual,” he says.

The new holding shape is used with our stacked logo – this is the NWU logo with the image of the chain links on top, and the abbreviation of the university’s name below. However, the holding shape cannot be used on any and all material.
