A walk down memory lane…
No, the big picture wasn’t taken shortly after the age of the dinosaurs, but yes, it was taken quite a while ago. This is how the Potchefstroom Campus looked in 1935. The smaller pictures show the campus in 1940 (below) and also the 1949 fire in the library, which was housed in the main building at that stage.
Today the campus boasts modern, well-equipped structures flanking the main building, with fountains and beautifully laid out gardens in front.
