Technology makes lecturer evaluation process easier
User-friendly and innovative. This is how staff and students in the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Information Technology describes the use of “clicker” technology after putting this interactive technological device to the test during the recent lecturer evaluation process. The testing process aimed to determine the usefulness as well as the level of user-friendliness.
Students from the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Information Technology recently put new class room technology to the test.
In the past, students had to fill in multi-choice rating cards when conducting the evaluation process but during the testing phase of the “clicker” they were only required to press a button that correlates with the question posed in a Power Point presentation. After each evaluation process the data was compiled, reworked to the correct format and feedback was given to the lecturers.
