Vision

The Faculty aims to develop people who can provide leadership in an economic world by implementing points of departure pertaining to the Reformation, and an entrepreneurial orientation in application of its core business.

Mission

To live out the scientific practice according to the motto of the University.
To dedicate ourselves to training of high quality, research and community service according to South African and international standards.
To facilitate a healthy interrelation between training and research.
To develop the abilities of students to be able to think and reason in order to solve economical problems.
To focus the teaching programmes on the needs of the business world and government sector, to ensure that students can be functional and employable in their country.
To appreciate the fact that students differ in their abilities and aspirations, and to adapt the teaching situation to accommodate them as a whole. (This includes distance education in the broader meaning thereof)
