Golf day to thank donors

The university again presented the annual NWU PUK/Absa golf day to thank its donors.
  Although rain put a damper on the day’s golf, the guests still enjoyed themselves immensely. Unfortunately there were no winners, but a lucky draw ensured that the prizes all found owners.
  This golf day has been presented since 1980 and has taken place at the Potchefstroom Country Club for the past seventeen years. It used to take place in Johannesburg.
  Funds were also raised for the NWU’s project, Meal-a-Day, for needy students.
