The Centre offers the following main functions:

• Training of intern psychologists and M1 students

• Research relating to the enhancement of psychological well-being

• Service to the student community and the broader community of Mafikeng district , neighbouring towns and villages in the North West Province

The target market of the Centre is:

• Children, teenagers and adults from the student community and general public

• The government departments, private sector and non-governmental organisations in the North West Province

The following forms of services are offered:

• General Clinical Services: Psychological Assessment, Psychotherapy, Group Therapy, Play Therapy, Marriage Guidance and Counseling.

• Other Specialised Services:

Remedial Education Therapy
Speech Therapy and Audiological Services
Occupational Therapy
