During a recent visit to the USA, Ms Antoinette Vermeulen, Quality Manager: Academic Programmes, delivered a paper on quality assurance at a conference of the American Evaluation Association. According to Antoinette the conference was a great success and provided ample opportunity for networking.
She was also invited by the Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) to do a presentation as a guest lecturer on social work-related experiences, assessment and quality control in South Africa. The students in attendance were impressed with her lecture and participated enthusiastically.
