Research Awards

Dear colleagues

Various NWU staff members were acknowledged for their excellence in research, innovation, community involvement and creativity during 2016 at a gala event in Potchefstroom on Friday, 27 October 2017.

The award recipients had performed excellently in a time of change for the university, and I am especially proud of the large number of younger academics who performed so well. Our researchers make it possible for the NWU to play an important role in producing capacity for South Africa. Above all our research does not only make an impact locally but also internationally.

It is my honour and privilege to congratulate our colleagues on this wonderful achievement. The NWU’s research continues to reach new heights and you may take pride in your hard work and dedication.

To all our staff members - thank you for your dedication. May these achievements encourage and inspire each of us to reach greater heights!

Kind regards

Prof Dan Kgwadi
