Welcome to the first edition of IMPACT@NWU

The North-West University (NWU) is proud to present the first edition of our community engagement newsletter, IMPACT@NWU.

This quarterly publication brings you updates on the NWU's initiatives, events and projects that seek to build a stronger relationship between the university and our local communities.

Every edition will feature details about our sustainability initiatives, upcoming community activities, volunteering opportunities and how you can become an active part of the NWU's commitment to serving our community.

"Community engagement opportunities enable our staff and students to become active citizens and discover the value they can add and receive through service, engaged scholarship and an ethic of care driven by partnerships and collaboration," says Prof Sonia Swanepoel, deputy vice-chancellor for community engagement and Mahikeng Campus operations.
