Scientists might still be looking for a vaccine for Covid-19, but NWU student Vivien Redelinghuys has already discovered that music is an effective remedy against the anxiety and stress that people might be experiencing during the lockdown.

Vivien, a second-year BA sociology and labour relations student, became an overnight sensation after going viral on social media.

He and a family friend, Anthony Hattingh, posted a video of themselves singing their new single, Hallelujah of Hope, inspired by Jeff Buckley’s Hallelujah.
