Limited VPN Connection details for non-Windows devices

VPN Server: vpn-win1.nwu.ac.za

Connection details: L2TP with a pre-shared key: NWU123!@# and 
Authentication with: "EAP-MSChap-v2".

The proxy / cache server is: "cache5.p.nwu.ac.za" and the port is "80"

Winows IE ( Internet Explorer ) should automatically ajust if no proxy was configured ( use the installer provided ). 
Where otherwise applicable either set proxy for automatic detect or for manual with the proxy detail.

IPAD VPN Configuration:

Click Settings, General, Network, VPN and "Add VPN Configuration"
Under L2TP fill in:
Description: Internet-Only VPN,
Server: vpn-win1.nwu.ac.za
Account: <NWU Number> eg, 10075291
RSA SecurID: Off
Password: <Network Password>
Secret: NWU123!@#
Send All Traffic must be "on"

PROXY: Manual
Server: cache5.p.nwu.ac.za
Port: 80
Authentication: On
Username: < Your firewall username >
Password: < Your firewall password >

Right top click "Save"

Make an internet connection and then go to VPN under Settings, select the "Student Vpn" and slide ON.

The proxy info may be required once a browser is opened.
