Vaal Triangle Campus - Ever wondered where our drinking water comes from?

If you drink water, this lecture is a must.

Much of our supplies come from dams situated in the rivers of the country.
SA has the most dams of all countries in Africa and we have a fine history of outstanding civil engineering in dam construction and water services.

Come and listen to Ms Lani van Vuuren of the Water Research Commission on Monday 4 May 2015 at 15:30-16:30 speak about the history of South Africa's large dams.
She will be speaking in Building 9C Chamber G02.

For the first 20 people to attend the lecture there will be a fee copy of her book:
In the footsteps of giants: Exploring the history of South Africa's large dams (WRC, Pretoria, 2012).

See you there!
