About us

The Faculty of Law maintains a high standard in teaching-learning, research outputs and community service.

It is the goal of the academic staff of the faculty to equip young law students with the knowledge, ethics and skills that they will need in their professional lives and also to expand the science of law through their research. 

Prominent national and international contributions are made, among other things through the accredited law journal of the faculty (PER), the secretariat of the Environmental Law Association (ELA) and the hosting of regular technical conferences.

Various prominent personalities are found among the alumni, honorary professors and extraordinary professors of the faculty. The faculty maintains close ties with various foreign peers.

The students of the faculty enjoy a stimulating environment and a variety of educational opportunities, including participation in simulated court competitions, exchange visits and exchange studies, and expert guest lectures. Postgraduate study gives graduates specific opportunities for specialisation and enrichment.
