With the expertise of the North-West University’s Potchefstroom Campus, the local Tlokwe Municipality in Potchefstroom announced that the greater Tlokwe area has been officially declared a disaster area. This follows after devastating fires that destroyed thousands of acres of grazing and killed hundreds of cattle in August. Read more
